News Update 5/1/15

posted 5 Jan 2015, 12:53 by Moneygall GAA
St Stephen's Day: Our annual charity fundraiser event took place on Stephen’s morning, with Acquired Brain Injury Ireland selected as this year’s chosen charity.  Proceedings got underway at 11am when despite the driving wind and rain, over 30 walkers took to the Loyer Loop.  This was followed by a gaelic football challenge match in St Flannan’s Park between the adult hurlers and Moneygall soccer club.  After the game soup and sandwiches were served in Ollie’s Bar.

Thanks to everyone who took part in or attended our two events or helped out in any way, and thanks to everyone who donated to the collection buckets.  A total of €750 was raised for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland
