Thanks: Our club sends our best wishes to referee Dan Darcy who fell ill during the Toomevara v Knockshegowna junior championship match in St Flannan’s Park last Friday evening. We wish Dan a speedy recovery.
Our club are very grateful to our local emergency responders who were in attendance, and whose immediate care and expertise were invaluable. A sincere thanks also to the members of the Toome and Knockshe clubs for their assistance, and to the emergency services personnel. Well done and thanks to all involved.

EGM: We will hold an EGM in the Séamus Ó Riain Centre on Friday 2nd September at 9pm, to finalise plans for the development of the second playing field. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.

Junior: We will play Ballina in our second championship match this Saturday evening at 7pm in Ballina.

Minor: Well done to the minor hurlers who beat Borris-Ileigh by 2-15 to 0-14 last week. We will play Kildangan in our last group match, on Wednesday 3rd August at 7pm in Nenagh.

Under 16: We were due to play Portroe on Monday evening but this game was postponed. Our next match at home to Ballina is fixed for Monday 8th August.

Under 14: We will play Borrisokane in the North quarter final. This game is fixed for Wednesday 10th August.

Under 12: We were in quarter final action in both the B and D championships last Friday night. In the B we came out on top against Kildangan by 1-9 to 0-4. In the D we were unlucky to lose out to Newport to 2-3 to 2-2. Well done to both teams on their performances.
We will play Kilruane in the B semi final this weekend in Cloughjordan. Fixture details will be posted on our club website and facebook page when known.

Cúl Camp: Our Cúl Camp began on Monday morning and continues until Friday. Full report next week.

Camogie: Best of luck to captain Mary Ryan, Mairead Teehan, selector Tom Toohey and the Tipp senior camogie panel who will play Wexford in the All Ireland Quarter Final in Walsh Park this Saturday.

Lip Sync Battles: Moneygall GAA and Moneygall FC will jointly host a family night of entertainment in the Rackett Hall Hotel Roscrea on October 29th next. We are looking for groups to join up and compete in this new show. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Pat Murray or Mark Moroney for further details.

Black & Reds: The results from our recent outing at Nenagh Golf Club were: 1 – Tom Byrne; 2 – Willie Greene; 3 – Patsy Greene. Next up is our Captain’s Prize which takes place in Dunmurry Springs on August 13th. The Honeymount Cup is also progressing nicely, with most first round matches now played.

Lotto: Our jackpot has now reached €10850. You can buy your tickets for just €2 each through the Club Lotto section of our website. This week's draw has been rescheduled for Thursday night in Ollie's Bar. Many thanks to all our lotto players and promoters for your continued support.
