posted 21 Sep 2015, 12:30 by Moneygall GAA
Under 13: Moneygall/Clonakenny were beaten by Portroe by 7-8 to 5-6 in the North Plate competition last week.  We now await other results to find out who we will play next.  Training continues for all U13s and U12s this Thursday evening at 6.15pm.

Under 12: We look forward to taking part in the Ballinamere Tournament this Saturday morning.  We also hope to hold our own Joe Donnelly Memorial Tournament on Sunday 4th October.  Further details to follow next week.

Under 10: Our U10s travelled to Borrisoleigh last Saturday to take part in the annual Mick Prior Tournament.  We faced Drom Inch in the semi final which we lost by 2-8 to 2-3 after a hard-fought match.  We then played Upperchurch Drombane in the third place playoff and we had a good win on a 3-9 to 5-1 scoreline in an exciting game.  Our thanks to the Borris-Ileigh club for the invitation and their hospitality.
Panel: Conor Quinlan (captain), Darragh Ryan, Bronagh Kenneally, Killian Toohey, Cian Ryan, Dylan McCormack, Tadhg Whyte, Aaron Doyle, Ciara Maher, Cormac Murray, Sam Carey, Patrick Sheedy, Andrew Hoolan, Cathal Healy, Patrick Carroll.

Under 8: Well done to our U8 hurlers who beat Borris-in-Ossory/Kilcotton in a well-contested challenge match in Kilcotton last Saturday morning.

Parish League: The Under 10 league continues on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm.  We welcome and encourage all parents, grandparents, families and friends to attend every week and support our young players.

Lotto: Our jackpot has reached €4250 for this week’s draw.  You can buy your tickets each week for just €2 each from any of our promoters, or through the Club Lotto section of our website.  Next Tuesday night’s draw (September 29th) will take place in Ollie’s Bar.  Many thanks to all our lotto players and promoters for your continued support.
