Junior: The north junior hurling championship gets underway this weekend.  Moneygall will play Kilruane MacDonaghs in our first group match this Saturday evening in Cloughjordan.

Under 16: We will play Burgess in the first round of the north U16 B championship which begins on 30th June.  The championship will be played on a round robin basis and we will also play Borris-Ileigh, Shannon Rovers Gaels, Ballina, Silvermines, Portroe and Borrisokane.

Under 14: Moneygall/Templederry lost to Shannon Rovers Gaels by 5-10 to 1-12 in Ballinderry last Wednesday.  We were then also due to play Lorrha on Monday evening – see Match Results section of this website.

Under 12: Our U12s beat Roscrea by 4-5 to 1-2 in Roscrea last Friday evening.  We will next play Shannon Rovers Gaels, this Friday evening in St Flannan’s Park.

Under 10/8/6: We travelled to Shinrone last Monday week for a very enjoyable evening of hurling.  Thanks to Shinrone for the games.  We also fielded two U8 teams recently to take part in a blitz in Moneygall with Toomevara and Kilruane, well done to all players.  Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm.

National Schools: Best of luck to the Moneygall N.S. Under 11 hurling team in their County Final against Lisronagh N.S. this Wednesday afternoon in Semple Stadium.

Club Lotto: Our latest jackpot winner TJ Grace was presented with his €3200 jackpot prize at last week’s lotto night in Julia’s Bar.  In the last 18 months we have had five jackpot winners who have shared over €30,000 in prize-money, so be sure to buy your ticket every week for your chance to win.

Tipperary GAA Draw: The 2014/2015 draw year began in the Templemore Arms last Friday night, where the monthly draws for both May and June were held.  Congratulations to Patrick Kennedy, Ballyrihy, who was the winner of €500 in the June draw.
