Féile na nGael: This weekend we welcome the Carrickmacross club from Monaghan to our parish for Féile na nGael 2016. We will contest Division 7 of the competition, and our three group fixtures will all be played in Moneygall. We will play two games on Friday – against Lisgoold of Cork at 4pm, then against Loughmore Castleiney at 6.30pm. On Saturday morning we play Carrickmacross at 10.30am. Following that we then play again at 2.30pm on Saturday, venue and opponents to be decided.
To celebrate the festival, our club will also hold a range of events throughout the week. Full details can be seen here:

We encourage all our supporters to visit the GAA Grounds during the weekend to enjoy the matches and entertainment.

Under 14: Our U14s had a good win on Saturday morning last, when we beat Newport in Newport by 2-7 to 1-9. There is no championship match this week due to Féile na nGael this weekend.

Under 12: Our U12 teams put in two good performances last weekend. In the B Championship we beat Portroe by 1-10 to 1-2 on Friday night in Portroe. On Saturday afternoon we were beaten by Newport by 3-5 to 3-4 in the D Championship. There are no championship matches this week.

Other Juveniles: Our U10s and U8s both played Roscrea last Tuesday in Moneygall, in a very exciting evening of hurling. We also participated in an U8 blitz in Morris Park on Saturday morning. Our U6 Little All Stars group continues to meet every Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. New members are always welcome.

Black & Red Golf: The Black & Reds held their third outing recently at New Forest G.C., Tyrellspass. A great day out was had by all despite one monsoon-like shower. 1 – Kevin Maher; 2 – Mac Deane; 3- Tom Byrne; First Nine – Gerry Ryan; Second Nine – Paul O’Brien; Nearest Pin – Mac Deane.
The next outing will be at Nenagh G.C. on Saturday 2 July. The Honeymount Cup draw has been circulated. The first round must be completed by 15 July.

Lotto: Our jackpot has now reached €9950 for Tuesday night's draw. You can buy your tickets for just €2 each through the Club Lotto section of our website. Next week’s draw will take place in Julia’s Bar. Many thanks to all our lotto players and promoters for your continued support.
