Thanks to all our visiting teams who travelled to Moneygall last Saturday for our annual Tim Liffey Memorial Under 14 Hurling Tournament.  In the semi finals Moneygall/Clonakenny beat Ballina by 4-5 to 2-3, and JK Brackens beat Coolderry by 5-2 to 3-6.

Coolderry then went on to win the Shield Final against Ballina, before Moneygall/Clonakenny beat JK Brackens by 0-10 to 1-1 in the Cup Final to win the Tim Liffey Cup for the first time.

Congratulations to all teams, and to the Player of the Tournament Conor Nesbitt.  Many thanks to the Liffey family who were all in attendance, to our referees Philip Bergin and Pat Murray, to our umpires, to groundsman Mick Sullivan who had the pitch in excellent condition, and to everyone who helped out with refreshments.
