Juvenile News Update 6/4/14

posted 7 Apr 2014, 12:46 by Moneygall GAA
Under 14:  The Moneygall/Templederry Under 14s first outing together was against Silvermines in a football championship match in Moneygall on Wednesday evening last.  This match ended in a draw after a great second half comeback by Moneygall/Templederry.  It finished 4-2 to 3-5.  It was great to see players from our combination team blend so well together and we look forward to the rest of the football and hurling season.

Under 12:  We played two football championship matches against Shannon Rovers and Templederry last week.  We defeated Shannon Rovers 5-2 to 2-1 in a very competitive game on Monday evening but went down to Templederry on Friday by conceding two late goals after leading from the start.   All players showed great commitment and heart in both matches and we now meet Burgess in the next round.  Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm.

Under 10:  We had a very successful outing in a hurling blitz in Thurles on Saturday morning last, winning two out of three games with a tight panel of players present.  We would hope that all of this panel of players will be available for our future outings.  Training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 pm.
