Semple Stadium Trip:
We took a bus to the Tipp v Limerick match on Sunday last from our juvenile club.  We had 47 players  travelling from 7 to 16 olds along with a good number of mentors and all enjoyed the day greatly.  Although the result may not have been ideal it was great to see them enjoying the buzz and atmosphere of Munster championship hurling in what was a very keenly contested game.  They all went home anticipating when our next outing might be and hopefully we will get to have another trip during the coming months.

Under 14: Moneygall/Templederry were beaten by a strong Borris-Ileigh team in our first match of the north championship in Templederry last Wednesday.  We are due to play Portroe in round two this Wednesday evening in Portroe.
On Saturday last we travelled to Roscrea to take part in the Martin Cunningham Memorial Tournament.  We beat Camross in the semi final, and then lost the final to Roscrea.  Thanks to the Roscrea club and the Cunningham family for the invitation

Under 12: We were beaten by Ballinahinch on Thursday last in the second round of the north championship.  We are now scheduled to play Newport in round three this Friday evening in St Flannan’s Park and hopefully we can get our first victory of the championship.

Under 10: Our U10 team had a very good victory against Loughmore in a friendly challenge on Saturday morning last.  We also took part in the monthly ‘Little Stars’ programme with Borrisokane and Shannon Rovers on Wednesday last in Moneygall.  We wish to thank David Needham for having this event so well organised and we look forward to our final outing in this programme in Ballinderry on June 25th.

Under 8 & Under 6: Our U8 team also had a very good victory against Loughmore in a friendly challenge on Saturday morning last and our U6 team travelled to Puckane on Wednesday last to take part in a divisional U6 blitz.

Cúl Camp: This year’s Kellogg’s Cúl Camp will take place from Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August, running from 10am to 2.30pm daily.  The camp caters for primary school boys and girls up to the age of 13.  The camp costs €55 per child, with reduced rates for the second and third children in a family.  There is also a discount available with Kellogg’s coupons.  Each participating child will receive a Cúl Camp kit and backpack.  Details of a registration evening for this event will shortly be announced.

Training: Training continues for our U12s, U10s and U8s every Wednesday at 6.30pm, along with our Under 6 Nursery Group.
