Our senior team were beaten by Drom Inch by 0-19 to 1-7 in the first round of the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup last Sunday morning.  The game was played in The Ragg following a late change of venue as St Flannan’s Park was unplayable.

Drom led 0-12 to 0-3 at half time having played with the elements in the first half.  Moneygall's goal was scored by Padhraic Greene midway through the second half when he finished Adam Hogan's cross to the net.

Well done to Paddy Fogarty, Adam Hogan, Donal Carroll and Cathal Hogan who made their senior debuts in this match.  Congrats also and best of luck to Phil Fanning who has been named as senior captain for 2015.  We have been drawn to play Borrisokane in Round 2 of the Challenge Cup.
