We have a record entry of 24 for the Honeymount Cup.  The draw was made in Rathdowney on Saturday.  It will be circulated this week, along with phone numbers.  The preliminary round must be played by 3rd August.  The first round must be played by 22nd August.

The sports personality of the parish at the moment is Clodagh Jones.  In May she played on the Lahinch Ladies team that won the Munster Senior Cup.  In June she won the Ulster Girls Open Championship at Royal County Down.  Last week she won six out of six in playing for the Munster Girls team in the Interprovincial Championships at Wexford G.C.  The officers and members of the Black & Red G.S. congratulate Clodagh on her remarkable achievements.  We also congratulate Fabian and Breda on the marvellous support they have given Clodagh.
