The draw for this year's North Senior Hurling Championship was made last night. Moneygall will play Burgess in the first round. This year the championship will be played on a straight knockout basis, and is expected to begin in June. The full draw is as follows: Burgess v MONEYGALLRoscrea v Lorrha Borris-Ileigh v Silvermines Nenagh Eire Og v Templederry Kildangan v Toomevara Ballina v Portroe Kilruane MacDonaghs - BYE TO QUARTER FINAL Borrisokane - BYE TO QUARTER FINAL The draw was also made for the North U21 B Football Championship. Moneygall/Clonakenny will contest Group 2 along with Lorrha and Templederry/Ballinahinch. Silvermines, Portroe and Shannon Rovers make up Group 1. The two group winners will advance to the North Final. The championship will get underway this month. |
