Our senior hurlers were beaten by Kildangan by 1-14 to 1-11 in round two of the North Tipperary SHC in Nenagh last Saturday evening.  Kildangan had wind advantage in the first half and led by 0-10 to 0-6 at half time. Moneygall were level within minutes of the restart when Jody Troy's goal made it 1-7 to 0-10. However we failed to kick on from this and never managed to take the lead, and when Kildangan goaled later in the half they were four points up again, 1-13 to 1-9.
Despite having some goal chances in the closing minutes we were unable to close the gap and Kildangan held on for a three point win. This result leave us bottom of the group after two rounds and needing to win our three remaining matches against Nenagh Eire Og, Roscrea and Kilruane MacDonaghs to be in contention for a place in the quarter finals.

Lineout: Ciaran Quinlan; Ger Ryan, Sean Ryan, Diarmuid Kennedy; Brendan Toohey, Eoin Troy, Pajo Troy (captain); Michael Bergin, Willie Greene (0-6, 3 frees, 1 65); Conor Ryan, Paddy Fanning (0-2), Eamonn McCormack (0-2); Jody Troy (1-1), Ger Kirwan, Eoin Greene.  Subs: Eoghan Ryan for Conor Ryan, Phil Fanning for Eoin Greene.
