A full programme of matches will go ahead this weekend in round 4 of the north senior hurling championship.  Everything is to play for in Group 1 where just two points seperate the six teams, and all six clubs can still qualify for the knockout stages.

After a slow start to the campaign Moneygall will now hope to build on their round 3 win over Nenagh Eire Og when they play Roscrea on Sunday evening in Toomevara at 7pm.  Also in Group 1, Dolla will host a double-header on Sunday afternoon with Borris-Ileigh playing Kilruane MacDonaghs at 2pm and Kildangan will meet Nenagh Eire Og at 3.30pm.

All three fixtures in Group 2 will be played on Saturday evening.  Burgess meet Borrisokane in Cloughjordan (7.30pm), Templederry face Lorrha in Nenagh (6pm), and Portroe will take on Toomevara also in Nenagh (7.30pm), in the top of the table clash.

The two group winners will advance straight to the north semi finals.  Second and third in each group will qualify for the two quarter finals.

Standings after 3 Rounds:

Group 1:
Nenagh Eire Og 4pts; Borris-Ileigh 4pts; Kilruane MacDonaghs 3pts; Kildangan 3pts; Roscrea 2pts; Moneygall 2pts.

Group 2: Toomevara 6pts; Portroe 6pts; Burgess 3pts; Templederry 3pts; Borrisokane 0pts; Lorrha 0pts.
