U21: Clonakenny/Moneygall will play Upperchurch Drombane in the first round of the Mid U21 ‘B’ football championship this Sunday. The match has been fixed for Drombane at 12 noon. Both clubs in this amalgamation will provide two selectors to each team – Eamon Egan and Pat Murray are our football selectors and Tommy Devereux and Ger Ryan will be the hurling selectors. The hurling team will compete in the Mid Tipp U21 ‘A’ Championship.

Juvenile News: Johnny Kirwan has been appointed as an U12 selector for 2012. Kevin Maher will act as a selector on the North Tipperary U14 team this year.

Defibrillator Training: It is planned to organise a training course in the use of the club’s defibrillator in the GAA Centre in the coming weeks. Anybody interested in attending the   course can give their name to Ollie Hayes or any other committee member. The course is likely to be run on a Saturday morning with a date to be set when final numbers are confirmed. The course is open to all members, and mentors involved with any of the club teams are encouraged to attend. Anyone who underwent previous defibrillator courses held by the club in recent years are also invited.

Scór na bPáistí: Congratulations to Cathal Greene, Kayleigh O’Meara, Aodhan Ryan, Lauren Talbot, Aisling Carroll, Rachel Earley, Hannah Carroll and Cathal Doughan who won the North Final in Set Dancing last Friday night in Newport.
